| Rainbow Bridge | Benny

Benny Keller: rescued September 2009, died June 2020.

11 years ago you were with at a pet adoption event with Wags. You wore a little vest that said "adopt me". You saw us a you were immediately taken. Greg  started talking to you and the lady holding your leash handed the leash to Dad and told us you were rescued from North Carolina on the day before your "date". You leaned into his leg. If he moved, you moved with him, never wanting to leave his side. I sat on the floor amongst all the puppies up for adoption to get to know them. You left Dad's side, pushed the pups away from me, crawled into my lap, looked up at me with those beautiful brown eyes, let out a huge sigh and fell asleep.

Benny...you adopted US.

Yesterday, you crossed the rainbow bridge and left a hole in our hearts. You loved unconditionally, protected us fiercely, and always made us laugh with your goofy antics.

You will always be in our hearts. Thank you for choosing us. We will never forget you.

Thank you Wags for allowing us to give Benny his furever home.
